| Earthquake, Army Chief Orders All Units of Pakistan Army To Be Ready |

Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Asim Munir has issued instructions to the units of Pakistan Army to stay put after the earthquake. Pakistan Army units will participate in relief activities in any emergency across the country including Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. No heavy damage has been reported in the earthquake so far, there are reports of cracks in the walls of the buildings. Pakistan Army units will assist civil administration on reporting any loss in any area, the units will immediately start rescue operation. All concerned Army and FC Urban Search and Rescue Teams have been alerted, Pakistan Army is at the forefront of public service be it natural calamities or security challenges.
